Blood test

Blood - a liquid tissue, continuously circulating through the vessels and penetrating into all the organs and tissues of a person. It consists of plasma and suspended cells - shaped elements (erythrocytes, leukocytes, platelets, etc.). The red color is attached to the hemoglobin contained in the red blood cells. The blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to the tissues, participates in the regulation of water-salt metabolism and acid-base balance in the body, in maintaining a constant body temperature. Due to the ability of leukocytes to absorb microorganisms, as well as the presence of antibodies, antitoxins and lysines in the blood, it performs a protective function. In humans, an average of 5.2 liters of blood (in men) and 3.9 liters (in women).
Differing by the relative constancy of the composition in a healthy person, the blood reacts to any changes in its body. Therefore, its analysis is of paramount diagnostic value. Determination of the quantitative and qualitative composition of the blood (hemogram) is carried out, as a rule, by capillary blood (from the finger), for which sterile needles are used - disposable scarifiers and individual sterile pipettes. For biochemical analyzes, mainly venous blood is used, and both should be taken in the morning, on an empty stomach.
