More common in women. The process begins with a nail roller, and then spreads to the nail plate. The rollers become swollen, bright red, sharply painful, the nail becomes grayish brown. Often, from under the roller, it is possible to squeeze out a drop of pus. People suffering from yeast nail damage should not contact healthy people, especially children, since transmission of infection is possible.
