Lice is spread not only sexually, but also through underwear. Pubic louse lives in the pubic hair, in the armpits, as well as in the beard, mustache, eyebrows and eyelashes.
It does not affect the hair of the head, which distinguishes it from head lice. On the affected areas of the hairline, mainly the perineum, thighs, anus, there are small hemorrhages, bluish spots, signs of inflammation, scratching. In the future, small nodules, vesicles, pustules can form. Patients are worried about constant itching. At the roots of the hair, lice can be seen, small nits are found on the hair.
