- 1% solution of chloramphenicol in colloplast (5% solution of castor oil in collodion). It is used to treat minor injuries (abrasions, scratches, cracks, scuffs, etc.). After cleaning the skin around the wound with a swab dipped in an antiseptic, a layer of the drug is applied to the wound and the surrounding skin, another 2 layers are applied to the film formed after drying. For minor bleeding, cover the wound with a piece of cotton or gauze and apply layers of microplast on top. The drug should not be used for extensive or severely bleeding wounds, severe suppuration, burns.
