Pulse voltage

Is defined as follows: the artery is placed on the pads of two or three fingers of the hand and squeezes the artery with one of the fingers until the second finger (or two fingers) ceases to perceive pulse strokes. Pulse voltage is determined by the force that must be applied to stop the passage of the pulse wave through the artery. At high arterial pressure the pulse becomes hard, at low - soft.
To investigate the properties of the pulse, it is necessary on different arteries, comparing them on arteries of symmetrical sites. This way it is possible to detect a violation of blood flow, other pathological conditions.
