A few words about stretch marks on the skin

Most often they are formed as a result of pregnancy, obesity, during puberty, and until recently you were sure that this is for life. But now a number of doctors argue that strips of stretched skin can disappear if lubricated with retin-A, a paste used to treat acne and smooth wrinkles.
Researchers find that retin-A helps to partially or completely get rid of stretch marks on the skin, if they are still fresh. In other words, if they are still pink and painful. When they become white, success is rarely achieved.
Retin-A has a therapeutic effect, facilitating the movement of fibroblasts (cells forming collagen and elastic fibers) to the affected areas. It can not be used during pregnancy, when the probability of scars is greatest, nor during breastfeeding.
