Neuralgia of the occipital nerve


Characterized by pain in the nape. They are knocking, bursting character, gradually on the surface of the head spreading anteriorly, from the occiput they irradiate into the temple and eye.
Pain increases with head turns, with palpation of the neck, sneezing and coughing, often cause nausea and vomiting.
