Polyposis of the stomach


The proliferation of polyps of the gastric mucosa from single to multiple, occupying sometimes a large area. When they are exposed to erosion against a background of chronic gastritis, they speak of an erosive polyposis gastritis. As a rule, the acidity of the gastric juice is reduced, there is no specific symptomatology.
Recognition:
Esophagogastroscopy with mucosal biopsy, fluoroscopy of the stomach. Repeated gastric examinations for monitoring every 6-12 months.
