Description medications: Tardiferon (Tardiferon)

Tardiferon (Tardiferon) *.

Depot formulation of iron sulfate.

Dragee (retard) containing 0.257 g (257 mg), iron sulfate (about 80 mg of iron).

Indications and contraindications are the same as for other similar iron.

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet 2 times a day (morning and evening) for an hour before a meal.

For young children and infants are available pills, called "Bebe-tardiferon" containing ferrous sulfate at 34, 5 mg (12 mg of free iron). Assign children aged 2 - 3 months to 1 tablet, 4 - 12 months to 2 pills, over 1 year - 3 pills one time a day (one hour before feeding).
