Description of the medicine: Lugol solution (Solutio Lugoli)

SOLUTION OF LYUGOL (Solutio Lugoli).

A solution of iodine in an aqueous solution of potassium iodide. Composition: iodine 1 part, potassium iodide 2 parts, water 17 parts.

Lugol's solution is applied externally, mainly for lubricating the pharyngeal mucosa, larynx. Inside appoint 5 to 10 drops 2 times a day.

Lugol solution with glycerin. Composition: iodine 1 part, potassium iodide 2 parts, glycerin 94 parts, water 3 parts.

Applied for lubricating the mucous membranes of the pharynx, larynx.
