ETADEN (Etadenum). 8- (2-hydroxyethyl) amino-adenine hydrobromide, hydrate.
Crystalline powder, white with a yellowish shade.
Etaden, like other purine derivatives, is involved in the metabolism of nucleic acids.
With parenteral administration, the drug stimulates reparative processes in the epithelial and hematopoietic tissues. Participates in the metabolism of nucleic acids.
It is used to stimulate reparative processes (in adults) in case of gastric and duodenal ulcer, thermal and radiation injuries of the skin, leukopenia, due to radiation and drug treatment, and non-healing granulating wounds.
Intramuscularly administered 0.1 g (10 ml of a 1% solution) 1 to 2 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment depends on the nature and course of the disease.
With lesions of the bladder, you can enter into its cavity.
The drug is contraindicated in acute and chronic leukemia, cardiac conduction disorders, allergic conditions, and individual intolerance.
Release form: 1% solution in ampoules of 5 ml in a package of 5 pieces.
