Description of the medicine: Aceminum

ACEMIN (Aceminum).

The sodium salt of e-acetylaminocaproic acid.

Synonyms: Plasten, Plastenan.

White or white with a yellowish tint fine crystalline powder with a weak specific odor. Soluble in water.

The drug is an aminocaproic acid derivative, but it differs from the latter in action. Acetin does not possess a specific antifibrinolytic activity. A feature of the action of acemin is the ability to clear wounds from necrotic masses, reduce exudation, accelerate epithelialization and tissue regeneration.

Apply acemin for the treatment of long-term healing wounds, burns, as well as with closed fractures, especially with prolonged bone growth, to accelerate the formation of a postoperative cosmetic scar.

Apply azamine externally in the form of 5% ointment and lotions, as well as inside as a 25% solution.

The ointment of acemin (Unguentum Asemini) is light yellow or brownish-yellow in color; Apply to the cleaned and disinfected wound surface daily or once every 2 to 3 days for 10 to 30 days. Lotions of 25% solution are done daily. Inside take 25% solution of 20 ml 1 - 3 times a day; The course of treatment continues 1, 5 - 2 weeks.

If fractures of the bones are taken immediately after the injury to 20 ml 2 times daily for 10 days, then take a break and after the radiologic control, confirming the onset of ossification of the callus, continue to receive the fracture before the fracture.

In the treatment of wound surfaces, a combined use of the drug inside and outside is possible.

The use of the drug is contraindicated in purulent and infected wounds and during pregnancy.

Forms of release: 5% ointment in aluminum tubes of 25 g; 25% solution in polyethylene bottles of 100 ml.

Storage: solution - in the dark place, ointment - in a cool dry place.
