Description of the medicine: Aloe extract liquid for injection (Extractum Aloes fluidum pro injectionibus)
EXTRACT ALOE LIQUID FOR INJECTION (Extractum Aloes fluidum pro injectionibus).
Aqueous extract from canned (aged at low temperature in the dark) fresh or dried aloe leaves (Aloe aborescens).
Liquid (sterile) from light yellow to brownish red with a slight fruity odor; pH 5, 0 - 6, 8.
It is used for a number of eye diseases (progressive myopia, myopic chorioretinitis, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis, iritis, clouding of the vitreous body, etc.), as well as for peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum and other diseases.
Introduce 1 ml daily under the skin (maximum daily dose 1 - 4 ml); children under 5 years old 0.2 - 0.3 ml, over 5 years old 0.5 ml. The course of treatment consists of 30 to 50 injections. With soreness of injections, 0.5 ml of a 2% solution of novocaine is pre-administered. Repeated courses of treatment are carried out after a 2 - 3 month break.
Sometimes used for bronchial asthma. Enter under the skin for 10 - 15 days, 1, 0 - 1, 5 ml daily, and then 1 time in 2 days; only a course of 30 - 35 injections.
The drug is contraindicated in severe cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, pregnancy, acute gastrointestinal disorders, advanced forms of nephrosonephritis.
Release form: in ampoules of 1 ml in a package of 10 ampoules.
Storage: in the dark place.
The preparation may contain turbidity, which precipitates upon storage; when shaking the ampoule, the precipitate becomes uniform turbidity.
