Description of the medicine: Biosedum (Biosedum)
Aqueous extract from canned fresh grass of stonecrop large (Sedum maximum L. Suter.), Fam. Crassulaceae (Сrassulaceae).
Transparent liquid, light yellow in color with a faint peculiar odor; pH 5, 0 - 6, 5. Sterilize at a temperature of +110 ° C for 30 minutes.
It belongs to the group of biogenic stimulants. It enhances the processes of metabolism and regeneration, has a general tonic and anti-inflammatory effect.
It is used as an adjuvant to stimulate metabolic and regenerative processes in the ophthalmic (burns of the cornea, fresh clouding of the cornea, etc.), dental (periodontal disease), surgical (accelerate the consolidation of bone fractures, treatment of trophic and varicose ulcers of the lower leg, etc.) and therapeutic ( peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum) practice.
It is administered under the skin or intramuscularly daily to adults, 1–2 ml (up to 3–4 ml) per day, children under 5 years old — 0.2–0.3 ml, older than 5 years — 0.5–1.0 ml . The course of treatment consists of 20-30 (up to 45) injections. If necessary, repeat courses in 2 to 4 months.
In ophthalmic practice, the bioseed is also prescribed subconjunctively in 0.3 - 0.5 ml (for a course of 10 - 25 injections). In the form of eye drops, 1 to 2 drops are administered 4 to 6 times a day.
The drug can be prescribed for electrophoresis for 3 - 5 - 7 minutes daily (up to 20 sessions).
In dental practice it is used in the form of applications, injections into the gum tissue and for electrophoresis.
When using the drug, hyperemia and urticaria rash at the injection site can be noted. These phenomena occur when the drug is discontinued.
The biomed is contraindicated in patients with achilia and in malignant neoplasms.
Release form: in ampoules of 1 ml in a package of 10 ampoules.
