Description of the medicine: Juice of Kalanchoe (Succus Kalanchoes)

SALT CALANHOE (Succus Kalanchoes).

Juice from fresh leaves and green parts of stalks of Kalanchoe plant pinnate, the family. Stiff-necked.

A liquid of yellow color with an orange tinge, an aromatic odor, transparent or slightly opalescent, with a fine suspension that breaks easily when shaken.

The Kalanchoe juice has a local anti-inflammatory effect, promotes the purification of wounds from necrotic tissues, stimulates their healing. Applied externally in the treatment of trophic ulcers, non-healing wounds, burns, bedsores, nipple cracks in nursing mothers, aphthous stomatitis, gingivitis, etc.

The wound or ulcer is sprinkled with juice (1 - 3 ml) with a syringe and a gauze dressing (4 - 5 layers) is applied, moistened with plenty of juice. The bandage is changed at first daily, then every other day. Once a day, the lower layers of the bandage are additionally moistened with juice (removing the top layers). The average duration of the course of treatment is 15-20 days.

On the mucous membranes of the mouth cavity, the Kalanchoe juice is applied in the form of an application 3 to 4 times a day. Several times a day, they put on the cracked nipples.

The drug is usually well tolerated. In case of burning sensation in the wound, you can dilute the Kalanchoe juice with an equal amount of 1 - 2% solution of novocaine.

Product: in ampoules of 10 ml or in bottles of 100 ml in a package of 10 amlules or bottles.

Storage: at a temperature not higher than + 10 ° C. Before use, the juice is kept at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

In dental practice, the juice before use is heated in a water bath to a temperature of + 37 ° C.
