Description of the medicine: Leacadinum

LEACADINUM. 2-Carbamoylaziridine.

White fine crystalline powder.

Easily soluble in water, sparingly in alcohol.

The drug has an immunocorrective effect. In addition to the immunostimulating effect, it increases the cytotoxicity of killer cells and monocytes, inhibits the growth of tumors.

Apply leakadin in adults as an immunostimulating agent in combination therapy for cancer diseases.

Enter intravenously at the rate of 100 - 300 mg / m 'daily for 10-15 days.

Immediately before use, dissolve the contents of the vial in 20-40 ml of isotonic sodium chloride solution.

If necessary, leacadin treatment is repeated at 3-week intervals.

When leacadin is used, nausea, vomiting, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, increased blood pressure are possible. In this case, you should lower the dose or cancel the drug.

Leakadine is contraindicated in leukopenia (below 3 10 10 / L), thrombocytopenia (below 12 * 10 9 / L), peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, hypertension II - III stage, thrombophlebitis in the phase of exacerbation.

Form release: lyophilized powder in vials of 0.1 and 0.5 grams and vampulas of 0.1 g (Leacadinum lyophilisatum 0.1 - 0.5 pro injectionibus).
