Description of the medicine: Ericcyclinum

ERICYCLIN (Erycyclinum).

A mixture of erythromycin and oxytetracycline dihydrate in the form of granules (0.125 g of each substance in 1 capsule).

The granules are light yellow with a slight specific odor.

Effects on Gram-positive microorganisms. Effective against microflora, resistant to penicillin, streptomycin, levomycetin, and some strains resistant to tetracycline.

Applied with purulent-inflammatory diseases of various etiologies (angina, pneumonia, bronchitis, cholecystitis, urinary tract infection, dysentery, wound infection, pyoderma, etc.).

Apply intravenously (30 to 50 minutes after eating) to 0.25 g (1 capsule) every 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose of 2 g (8 capsules). The course of treatment 7 - 10 days or more, depending on the severity of the disease.

Contraindications are the same as for erythromycin and tetracycline.
