Description of the medicine: Furaplastum (Furaplastum cum Perchlorvinylo)

FURAPLAST (with perchlorovinyl) (Furaplastum cum Perchlorvinylo).

Liquid of light yellow color, syrup-like consistency, with the smell of chloroform.

Ingredients: furacilin 0.022 g, dimethyl phthalate 2, 2 g, perchlorovinyl resin 8, 75 g, acetone 27, 7 g, chloroform 61, 3 (per 100 g).

Applied for the treatment of abrasions, scratches, cracks, cuts and other minor skin injuries (see Klefurin).

The damaged area of ​​the skin is cleaned (hydrogen peroxide or alcohol), rubbed with a dry sterile gauze swab, then a thin layer of furaplast is applied with a glass or wooden stick. After 1 to 2 minutes, the preparation dries to form a dense, elastic film. The film is stable, it is not washed off with water, it usually lasts 1 to 3 days. If the film is damaged, the furaplast is reapplied before the wound is healed.

To use furaplastom it is not necessary at a strong suppuration of a wound and the phenomena of an inflammation, a pyoderma, a strong bleeding. With a slight bleeding, it is necessary to preliminarily stop it in the usual ways, then cover the wound with a furaplast.

Product: in the orange glass bottles of 50 ml.

Storage: List B. In a place protected from light and fire.

Note. When stored in a poorly-closed container, the preparation thickens (the solvent evaporates), in these cases, a small amount of chloroform can be added to the bottle and shaken.
3. Ointment <FASTIN> (Unguentum << Fastinum >>).

Homogeneous dense mass of yellow color, with a weak odor. Contains furatsilin (0.2%), synthomycin (1, 6%), anesthesin (3%), lanolin, stearin and water - up to a total of 100%.

Applied with burns of I degree, fresh burns of II and III degree, purulent wounds, pyoderma.

The ointment is applied to sterile gauze wipes and applied to the affected surface of the skin.

The bandage is changed after 7 to 10 days; If there is evidence, they change it earlier.

The form of production : in banks of orange glass to 50 g.

Storage: in a cool place.
4. OIL << FUELVIDE >> (Unguentum <Fulevid>).

Ointment containing furacilin (0.1%); Levomycetin (2%), solution (oil) retinol acetate (or acetate), lanolin anhydrous.

Applied for the treatment of dermatitis, long-term non-healing wounds, cracks in the rectum, pressure ulcers, burns I - II degree.

The ointment is applied a thin layer on a sterile napkin, which is applied to the treated wound surface. The bandage is left for 24 hours, it is changed daily or 2 - 3 times a week, depending on the amount of a purulent discharge wound. Duration of treatment 1 - 4 weeks.

The form of release: in banks of an orange glass on 25 g.
