Description drugs: AZT (Zidovudine)
AZT (Zidovudine). 1- (3 1 - Azido-2 1 - deoxyribosyl) thymidine.

New antiviral agent inhibits replication of retroviruses, including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Proposed for use in the treatment of AIDS.
The drug has a short half-life (approximately 1 h). Assign usually 2 capsules (200 mg), 6 times a day.
