Applied as an ointment for viral eye diseases (epidemic adenoviral conjunctivitis and keratongjunctivitis, keratitis caused by the herpes simplex virus and Herpes zoster), as well as for skin diseases of viral or presumed viral etiology (simple and recurrent herpes zoster, herpes zoster, lichen planus, contagious Mollusk, etc.). Can also be used to treat flat and simple warts in children.

In ocular practice, apply in the form of 0.5% ointment (ointment on a vaseline basis - from cream to yellow). With adenoviral keratoconjunctivitis and other viral diseases of the eye, 0.5% ointment is poured over the edge of the eyelids 3 to 4 times a day for 2 to 4 weeks.

For the treatment of skin lesions apply 2% or 5% ointment. With herpes simple and surrounding, 2% ointment is applied to the affected areas of the skin 3 to 4 times a day for 3 to 7 days or more, with psoriasis and red lichen planus 2% or 5% ointment 2 times a day, or compresses with ointment The same concentrations once a day for 3 to 4 weeks (and, if necessary, more). To remove flat and simple warts and molluscum contagiosum, first rub 3 - 5% salicylic ointment, and then vigorously re-5% tebrofen ointment. Ointment is used for at least 2 weeks.

Sometimes there is a transient burning sensation.

Product: 0.5% ointment 10 g (for ophthalmic practice); 2% and 5% ointments for 30 g (for dermatological practice) in aluminum tubes or 30 g in cans of orange glass.
