Description of the medicine: Bismoverolum (Bismoverolum)

BISMOVEROL (Bismoverolum).

A slurry (7%) of the basic bismuth salt of monoisvitymic acid in peach or olive oil.

The drug after shaking is a suspension of white color, from which a white precipitate precipitates upon standing. The content of metallic bismuth in 1 ml of the slurry is about 0.05 g (ie, 2, 5 times greater than in biyohinol).

Used for the treatment of patients with syphilis usually in combination with antibiotics of the penicillin group. Introduce intramuscularly (two-stage method) in the upper outer quadrant of the buttocks; Adults - 1, 5 ml 2 times a week. The rate is 16 - 20 ml, which corresponds to 0.8 - 1.0 g of metallic bismuth.

Children are given every 3 to 4 days in the following doses:

Before each use, the vial with the drug should be shaken thoroughly. To quickly obtain a uniform suspension it is recommended to warm the vial in warm water.

When bismouverol is used, the same side effects are possible, as with the use of biyohinol.

Currently, bismmostol is rarely prescribed.

Precautions and contraindications are the same as with the use of biyohinola.
