When treating ascaridosis, the drug is prescribed for 2 consecutive days 2 times a day for 1 hour or 1/2 to 1 hour after a meal. They are given orally in the form of tablets in the following doses for a single dose: adults - 1, 5 - 2, 0 g (3 - 4 g per day); Children under 1 year - 0.2 g (0.4 grams per day), from 2 to 3 years - 0.3 g (0.6 grams per day), from 4 to 5 years - 0.5 grams (1 g per day); From 6 to 8 years - 0.75 g (1, 5 g per day), from 9 to 12 years - 1 g (2 grams per day), from 13 to 15 years - 1, 5 grams (3 grams per day). Children can be prescribed as a 5% solution.

You can also take the drug for one day: once from 0.4 to 4 g (depending on age) or 2 times from 0.2 to 2 g.

A solution of piperazine adipinate 5% for children (Solutio Piperazini adipinatis 5% pro infantibus). Contains in 100 ml of piperazine adipate 5 g, acid citric 2 g, sugar syrup 72, 9 g, sodium benzoate 0.1 g, water 20 ml. Transparent liquid of slightly yellow color, odorless, sweet and sour to taste. One teaspoon of the solution contains 0.25 g of piperazine adipate, a dessert spoon - 0.5 g, a tablespoon - 0.75 g.

When enterobiosis is taken in the same doses for 5 consecutive days with a 7-day break; Spend 1 - 3 cycles of treatment. In between cycles, it is recommended to put an enema for the night (to remove pinworm from the rectum); Adults from 4 to 5 glasses of water, children - from 1 to 3 glasses with the addition of sodium bicarbonate, 1/2 teaspoon per glass of water.

Children can be assigned a ready 5% solution.
