Description of the medicine: Ciminal (Ciminalum)
CYMINAL (Ciminalum). para-Nitro-a-chlorochloric aldehyde.
Light yellow crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol.
Suppresses (locally) gram-positive and gram-negative flora, promotes epithelization and wound healing.
Applied externally for the treatment of pyoderma, trophic ulcers, complicated infections, II degree burns; as an additional tool in the treatment of wounds infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, with small granulating wounds with purulent discharge, etc.
Assign in the form of a powder (for dusting) or 1% and 3% suspension, which are applied to the surface on the basis of 5 mg per 1 cm. Dressings are performed after 3 to 5 days.
With prolonged use of the drug, dermatitis, a burning sensation and itching at the place of use may occur.
The drug is contraindicated for deep burns and eczema.
