Description of the medicine: Iomeglamic acid (Acidum iomeglamicum)

IOMEGLAMIC ACID (Acidum iomeglamicum). 3- (3-Aminophenyl-2,4,6-triiod) -N-methyl glutarimidic acid.

Synonyms: Falignost (new), Falignost neu.

Microcrystalline powder is yellowish or brown in color. Almost nerastvorim in the water.

It is, like an acid yopanoy, radiopaque drug for the investigation of the biliary tract of the gallbladder.

Apply inwards in the form of tablets. It is characterized by a relatively fast release of the active substance from the tablet, by rapid and complete absorption from the intestine.

Assign a single dose in the amount of 8 tablets taken on the evening before (for 12 hours), or fractionally in the amount of 8 tablets 12 hours before the study (the evening before) and 8 tablets in the morning - 4 hours before the cholerography.

With the fractional method (in a double dose), a better image of the bile duct and bladder is provided.

At reception of a preparation nausea, desires to a vomiting, in rare or infrequent cases - allergic skin reactions are possible.
