Description of the medicine: Sulfobar
SULFOBAR (Sulfobar).
A white paste containing 50% barium sulfate for fluoroscopy.
The paste and the aqueous suspension prepared from it are well enveloped in the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract and provide a high quality X-ray image.
For x-ray examination of the esophagus, stomach and small intestine take sulphobar inside. To fill the esophagus is used undiluted or diluted (3: 1) water at room temperature paste. To study the stomach and intestines, a suspension is prepared by adding 240 g of paste 70 to 80 ml of water in 2 to 3 doses with thorough stirring.
For irrigoscopy, 240 to 360 g of paste is dosed in 700 to 800 ml of water.
When examining the esophagus take 120 - 180 g of undiluted sulphobar or 200 - 250 ml of diluted paste in a ratio of 3: 1. To study the stomach and small intestine, use 300 - 450 ml of diluted paste, for irrigation - 1000 - 1500 ml.
Product: paste in aluminum tubes of 60 or 120 g and in glass jars of 240 or 360 g.
Storage: in a well-ukuporennoy container at room temperature. Storage below 10 ° C is not allowed.
