HOPITOL (Chophytol)
Pharmacological action: The preparation of plant origin with choleretic, hepatoprotective and diuretic action, reduces the urea content in the blood. Contained in the artichoke (Cynara scolymus) ascorbic acid, carotene, vitamins B1 and B2, inulin contribute to the normalization of metabolism in the body. Hofitol increases the production of coenzymes by hepatocytes and has an effect on the metabolism of lipids, cholesterol and ketone bodies. Has a detoxifying effect on the parenchyma of the liver or kidneys with antibiotic therapy. Promotes the release of toxins from the body, incl. Nitro compounds, alkaloids, salts of heavy metals.

Pharmacokinetics: The effect of the drug Hofitol is the cumulative effect of its components, therefore, carrying out kinetic observations is not possible; All components can not be traced using markers or bio-studies. For the same reason, it is impossible to detect metabolites of the drug.

Indications:
- chronic nephritis;
- severe renal dysfunction;
- oliguria with heart failure and cirrhosis;
- acetonemia;
- dyskinesia of bile ducts by hypokinetic type;
- cholecystitis;
- chronic hepatitis;
- jaundice;
- Chronic intoxications (including hepatotoxic substances, nitrocompounds, alkaloids, heavy metal salts);
