Description of the medicine: Tolterodine (Tolterodine)
(+) - (R) -2- [A- [2- (Diisopropylamino) ethyl] benzyl] para-cresol.
Synonyms: Detrol, Detrusitol, Detrol, Detrusitol.
Blocks m-cholinergic receptors of the bladder and salivary glands, relaxes the detrusor.
Applied with frequent urination, urinary incontinence and dysuria.
Assign inside of 0.001-0.002 g (1-2 mg) 2 times a day.
Possible side effects: visual impairment (including accommodation disorders), dry skin, dysuria, dyspepsia, headache, dizziness, confusion.
The drug is contraindicated in case of urinary retention, impaired gastric emptying, angle-closure glaucoma, severe liver dysfunction.
Release form: tablets on 0,001 and 0,002 g (1 and 2 mg) (N. 56).
