Description of the medicine: Flavoxate

FLAVOXATE.

3-Methyl-4-oxo-2-phenyl-4H-1-benzopyran-8-carboxylic acid, 2- (1-piperidinyl) ethyl ester.

Synonym: Urispas, Urispas.
M-holinoblokator, which also has myotropic antispasmodic properties. Relaxes mainly musculature of the urinary tract.

Applied with frequent urination and urinary incontinence, with pain reactions and dysuria with cystitis and urethritis.

Assign inside 0.1-0.2 g 3-4 times a day.

Possible side effects: nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, drowsiness, tachycardia - are weaker than in oxybutynin (see).

Forms of release: tablets of 0.1 and 0.2 g (N. 100).
