Applied with hyperprolactinemia in women (infertility, galactorrhea, menstrual cycle) and men (decreased libido, impotence), for suppressing lactation, with prolactinoma, acromegaly and parkinsonism.

Assign inside (during eating), usually 0.0005 g (0.5 mg) 1-2 times a week; The maximum dose of 0.0045 g (4.5 mg) per week.

To prevent postpartum lactation, apply 0.001 g (1 mg) on ​​the first day after birth, then 0.00025 g (0.25 mg) 2 times a day for 2 days.

In parkinsonism (in combination with levodopa preparations), 0.001 g (1 mg) is prescribed once a day, every 1-2 weeks the dose is increased by 0.0005-0.001 g (0.5-1 mg) to an average daily dose of 0.002 g -0,006 g (2-6 mg).

Possible side effects: arterial hypotension, dyspepsia, epigastric pain and in the area of ​​the mammary glands, palpitations, peripheral edema, asthenia, depression.

Contraindications are the same as in bromocriptine.
