Description medications: Lodoxamide (Lodoxamide)

Lodoxamide (Lodoxamide).

N, N- (2-Chloro-5-cyano-meta-phenylene) acid dioksaminovaya.

Synonym: alomid, Alomid.

The white crystalline powder. Soluble in water.

Mast cell stabilizer (inhibits the release of histamine, slow reacting substance of anaphylaxis, eosinophil hematoksicheskogo factor).

When instilled in the eye is absorbed in a slight amount is 8.5 T ½ hr.

Applied with allergic conjunctivitis and keratitis.

1-2 instilled drop in each eye four times a day for up to 4 weeks.

Possible side effects include conjunctival irritation, blurred vision, probably deposited crystals and ulceration of the cornea, dry mucous membranes of the nose, dizziness, dyspepsia.

During treatment contraindicated for wearing contact lenses.

Product: 0.1% solution in vials-droppers at 5, 10 and 15 ml.
