Description of the medicine: Lodoxamide (Lodoxamide)
N, N- (2-Chloro-5-cyano-metaphenylene) dioxamic acid.
Synonym: Alomid, Alomid.
White crystalline powder. Soluble in water.
Mast cell stabilizer (inhibits the release of histamine, a slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis, eosinophilic hematoxic factor).
When instilled into the eyes, it is absorbed in a small amount, T Ѕ is 8.5 hours.
Applied with allergic conjunctivitis and keratitis.
Instill 1-2 drops in each eye 4 times a day for up to 4 weeks.
Possible side effects: conjunctival irritation, visual impairment, probably deposition of crystals and ulceration of the cornea, dry nasal mucosa, dizziness, dyspepsia.
Wearing contact lenses is contraindicated during treatment.
Release form: 0.1% solution in dropper bottles of 5, 10 and 15 ml.
