Medication Description: Lacidipine (Lacidipine)
4- [tertiary] butyl diethyl ether 4- [ortho- [2-carboxyvinyl] phenyl] 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-3,5-pyridinecarboxylic acid.
Synonym: Lacipil, Lacipil.
Refers to long-acting calcium channel blockers. It does not affect the automatism of the sinus node, myocardial contractility, and cardiac conduction system.
Quickly and completely absorbed in the digestive tract, although the bioavailability does not exceed 10% (as a result of the effect of "first passage" through the liver), C max is 30-150 minutes,
T Ѕ - 13-19 h; mainly excreted in faeces.
Applied with arterial hypertension.
Assign inside. Initial dose of 0.002 g (2 mg) 1 time per day (in the morning). After 3-4 weeks, the daily dose is increased, if necessary, to 0.004-0.006 g (4-6 mg).
Side effects and contraindications are the same as with nifedipine.
