Description of the medicine: Lacidipine (Lacidipine)
4- [Ortho- [2-carboxyvinyl] phenyl] 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-3,5-pyridinecarboxylic acid 4-tert-butyl diethyl ester.
Synonym: Lacipil, Lacipil.
Refers to long-acting calcium channel blockers. Does not affect the automatism of the sinus node, myocardial contractility and the conduction system of the heart.
Quickly and completely absorbed in the digestive tract, although the bioavailability does not exceed 10% (as a result of the effect of the "first passage" through the liver), C max is 30-150 min,
T Ѕ - 13-19 hours; excreted mainly with feces.
Apply with arterial hypertension.
Assign inside. The initial dose of 0.002 g (2 mg) once a day (in the morning). After 3-4 weeks, the daily dose is increased, if necessary, to 0.004-0.006 g (4-6 mg).
Side effects and contraindications are the same as with nifedipine.
