Description medications: Exosurf Baby (Exosurf neonatal)

Exosurf for newborns (Exosurf neonatal).

The active ingredient is Exosurf kolfostserila palmitate (Colfosceril palmitate).
1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine.

It has surfactant properties and improve lung compliance.

It used like Curosurf, for respiratory distress syndrome in newborns.

Administered as a solution in a dose of 5 ml / kg via the endotracheal tube. If necessary, repeated administration of the same dose 12 hours.

Product: powder in capsules of 0.108 g kolfostserila palmitate with the addition of other components together with the solvent (water for injection) in vials of 8 ml.
