Medication Description: Hymecromone (Hymecromone)
Synonym: Odeston, Odeston.
Like some other coumarins, it has a choleretic effect and also has antispasmodic activity (it relaxes the muscles of the biliary tract).
Applied with biliary dyskinesia, cholangitis, cholecystitis, gallstone disease.
Is ingested (before meals) at 0.2-0.4 g 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 10-14 days.
Contraindicated in acute diseases, obstruction of the biliary tract, with gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer with bleeding.
Form release: pills to 0.2 g (N.50).
