Medication Description: Clobetasol (Clobetasol)
(11β, 16β) -21-Chloro-9-fluoro-11,17-dioxy-16-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione.
Synonym: Dermovate, Dermovate.
White or creamy crystalline powder. Insoluble in water.
Glucocorticosteroid for topical use.
Assign with psoriasis, chronic eczema, lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus.
Cream or ointment is applied with a thin layer on the affected skin 1-2 times a day.
With prolonged use may cause atrophic changes in the skin.
The drug is contraindicated in acne, bacterial, viral and fungal skin lesions, genital itching, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Method of production: 0.05% ointment and cream in tubes of 25 g; 0.05% lotion in bottles of 30 and 100 ml.
