Description medications: Conjugated Estrogens (Estrogens conjugates)

Conjugated estrogen (Estrogens conjugates).

Synonyms: Gormopleks, K.E.S., Premarin, Estrofeminal, Gormoplex, KES, Premarin.

Summary preparations containing a mixture of naturally occurring estrogens.

Adjust the development and preservation of function of the female reproductive system.

Apply with climacteric syndrome, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, prostate cancer.

Assign inside: the climax - an average of 0,625-3,75 mg daily intermittent; with dysfunctional uterine bleeding and prostate cancer - 3.75-7.5 mg per day (2-3 hours).

Possible side effects: depression, weight gain, edema, abnormal liver function, jaundice, dark spots on the face.

Contraindications: thrombophlebitis or thromboembolic events, impaired liver and kidney function, bleeding of unknown etiology, pregnancy and lactation.

Method of issuance: pills on 1.25 mg (N. 20); tablets of 0.3 mg (N. 100), 0.625 mg (N. 25, 31, 100), 0.9 mg (N. 100) and 1.25 mg (N. 100); capsule 0.3; 0.6 and 1.25 mg (N. 20).
