It is produced by different companies with additional designations: Aminosteril II, Aminosteril III, Aminosteril KE 10%, Aminosteril KE Nefro carbohydrate-free, Aminosteril N-Hepa, etc .; they differ in the total amino acid content and, accordingly, in the total nitrogen content and protein index, in the content of “additives” (L-malic acid, glacial acetic acid, etc.).
Indications for the use of amino steril II and III are basically the same as for hydrolysin (amino steril II at a rate of 2 ml / kg per hour and amino steril III in a daily dose of 1-2 l).
Aminosteril N-Hep is prescribed for liver failure (5% solution at a dose of 1.7-2.1 ml / kg per hour and 8% - 1-1.25 ml / kg per hour), and aminosteril KE Nephro carbohydrate-free in renal failure (up to 250 ml per 70 kg of body weight).
Aminosteril II is contraindicated in severe hepatic and acute renal failure.
