Medication Description: Arteparon (Arteparon)
Mucopolysaccharide polyester sulfuric acid.
In structure and action, it resembles chondroitin sulfuric acid (see Konsurid). Inhibits enzymes that cause damage to the cartilage tissue, improves its trophism, promotes the formation of intra-articular fluid.
Applied with osteoarthritis of the knee joint, finger joints, knee cap chondropathy.
Enter slowly 1 ml (5% solution) 2 times a week for 7-8 weeks (a total of 15 injections) deeply into the gluteal muscle. If necessary, repeat courses after 3 months. You can (for maintenance therapy) to conduct several injections at intervals of 1 week.
Intra-articular injection of 0.5-1 ml 2 times a week (at intervals of 3-4 days) for 3-5 weeks.
Possible side effects: headache, increased sweating, tachycardia, pruritus, rash, hemorrhages in the skin, in rare cases - anaphylactic shock.
To determine individual tolerance, a trial dose of 0.3 ml should be administered intramuscularly prior to treatment.
The drug is contraindicated in hemorrhagic diathesis, in the acute period of myocardial infarction, in severe hypertension, diabetes mellitus, abnormalities of the liver and kidneys, ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, pregnancy.
Do not appoint children under 15 years.
Product form: 5% injection solution in 1 ml ampoules.
