Carolin. Carotin. Tablets containing 5 mg of β-carotene (food carotene) and 0.1% solution in oil (in vials of 30, 50 and 100 ml). Are used as a food additive as a restorative and immunostimulating agent for the prevention of colds, with cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases (ulcers, gastritis), with cataracts.

Carotolinum (Carotolinum). Oily extract of carotenoids from the flesh of rose hips. Contains also tocopherol, unsaturated fatty acids and other substances.
