Description of medicine: Iron fumarate (Ferrous fumarate)
IRON FUMARATE (Ferrous fumarate).
Synonyms: Ferronate, Heferol, Cheferol, Ferronat.
Used for iron deficiency anemia.
Assign inside adults and children over 12 years old with 1 capsule (Kheferol) 1-2 times or 10 ml of suspension 3-4 times, for children under 12 years of age - 5 ml of suspension 1-4 times a day.
Possible side effects: dyspeptic symptoms, anorexia.
Contraindications: hemochromatosis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, ulcerative colitis.
Method of release: capsules of 0.35 g (0.1 g of elemental iron) (N. 30); 3% suspension for oral administration in 100 ml vials.
