Glycolized polypeptide containing 127 amino acid residues. The molecular weight is 15 500-19 500 daltons. (C 639 H 1002 N 168 O 198 S 8 ).
Obtained by genetic engineering through the yeast fungus Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Stimulates the formation of granulocytes, macrophogavas and eosinophils.
Enter intravenously (infusion - for 2 hours) or subcutaneously.
Doses are set individually.
Usually used (for neutropenia associated with chemotherapy of malignant neoplasms with cytostatic agents and for bone marrow transplantation) at a rate of 250 μg per 1 m 2 of body surface per day. If necessary, increase the dose to 500 mcg / m 2 per day.
When using the drug, there may be a violation of vascular permeability, fluid retention in the body, difficulty breathing, general weakness, fever, thrombophlebitis, thrombosis.
Release form: powder for injection solutions in vials of 0.25 and 0.5 mg.
The contents of the vial are dissolved in 1 ml of sterile water for injection (without shaking, to avoid the formation of foam). For infusions, it is then diluted in a 0.9% sodium chloride solution.
