ANALOGIN (Analginum). 1-Phenyl-2, 3-dimethyl-4-methylaminopyrazolone-5-N-methanesulfonate.

White or white with a barely noticeable yellowish tinge crystalline powder. In the presence of moisture rapidly decomposes. Easily soluble in water (1: 1, 5), it is difficult - in alcohol.

The aqueous solution (pH 6, 0 - 7, 5) is sterilized at + 100 ° C for 30 minutes.

Analgin has a very pronounced analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. As a highly soluble and easily absorbed drug, it is especially suitable for use in cases where it is necessary to quickly create a high concentration of the drug in the blood. Good solubility makes it possible to widely use analgin for parenteral administration.

Apply analgin for pain of various origins (headache, neuralgia, radiculitis, myositis), febrile states, flu, rheumatism, chorea.

Assign analgin inside, intramuscularly or intravenously.

Inside take after eating. The dose for adults is 0.25-0.5 g 2 - 3 times a day; With rheumatism - up to 1 g 3 times a day. Children inside at 5 - 10 mg / kg 3 - 4 times a day.

Intramuscularly or intravenously (with severe pain), 1 to 2 ml of 50% or 25% solution of 2 to 3 times a day is administered to adults; Not more than 2 grams per day. Children are administered at the rate of 0.1 - 0.2 ml of a 50% solution or 0.2 - 0.4 ml of a 25% solution per 10 kg of body weight.

Do not apply subcutaneously, as tissue irritation is possible.

Higher doses for adults inside: single 1 g, daily 3 g; Intramuscularly and in a vein: single 1 g, daily 2 g.

When using analgin (especially long), it is possible to suppress hematopoiesis (granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis), therefore it is necessary to periodically carry out a blood test.

Cases of allergic reactions after taking analgin and anaphylactic shock after intravenous administration of the drug are described.

The drug is contraindicated for hypersensitivity (skin reactions, etc.), bronchiolospasm, hematopoietic disorders.

Form release: powder, tablets of 0.5 g; 25% and 50% solutions in ampoules of 1 and 2 ml.

For use in children's practice, tablets of 0.05; 0.1 and 0.15 g.
