Medication Description: Terridekaza (Terridecasum)
Modified Termilitin dosage form obtained by attaching it to polyglucin.
Porous mass or lyophilized powder of white (with a yellowish tinge) color.
Applied externally to the treatment of purulent wounds, bedsores, trophic ulcers.
Intrapleurally and intrabronchially prescribed for abscesses, bronchiectasis and other inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.
Externally used in the form of a solution. The contents of the vial (100 PE - proteolytic units) are diluted in 2-5 ml of distilled water, or 0.9% sodium chloride solution, or 0.25% novocaine solution, moistened with a gauze cloth and placed on the affected area, covered with a moisture-proof bandage. The dressing is changed 1 time in 1-2 days.
When empyema is injected into the pleural cavity turunda with a solution. When hemothorax is administered intrapleurally, 100-200 PE (in 2-5 ml of solution) 1 time per day for 2-7 days.
In case of purulent tracheobronchitis, 100 PE (through 2-5 ml of solution) is administered through the intubation tube 5-6 times a day for 3-4 days.
When sputum is delayed (after resection of the lungs), 10-15 PE are administered intratracheally (in 2-3 ml of the solution obtained by diluting 100 PE in 20 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution); on the course - 1-3 procedures.
Form release: powder in hermetically sealed vials and ampoules of 100 PE.
