Description of the medicine: Terridecasum (Terridecasum)
A modified dosage form of terrilithin obtained by attaching it to polyglucin.
Porous mass or lyophilized powder of white (with a yellowish tint) color.
Applied externally for the treatment of purulent wounds, bedsores, trophic ulcers.
Intrapleural and intrabronchial prescribed for abscesses, bronchiectasis and other inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.
Topically applied as a solution. The contents of the vial (100 PE - proteolytic units) are diluted in 2-5 ml of distilled water, or 0.9% sodium chloride solution, or 0.25% novocaine solution, moistened with a solution of gauze and applied to the affected area, covered with a waterproof dressing. The dressing is changed 1 time in 1-2 days.
When empyema is injected into the pleural cavity of turunda with a solution. When hemothorax is administered intrapleurally at 100-200 PE (in 2-5 ml of solution) 1 time per day for 2-7 days.
With purulent tracheobronchitis, 100 PE (in 2-5 ml of solution) are introduced through an endotracheal tube 5-6 times a day for 3-4 days.
With sputum retention (after resection of the lungs), 10-15 PEs are administered intratracheally (in 2-3 ml of a solution obtained by diluting 100 PEs in 20 ml of a 0.9% sodium chloride solution); for the course - 1-3 procedures.
Release form: powder in hermetically closed bottles and ampoules on 100 PE.
