Description of the medicine: Epoetin beta (Epoetin beta)
EPOETIN BETA (Epoetin beta).
Synonyms: Recormon, Rapoetin, Epokrin, Recombinant human erythropoietin, Erythrostim.
By composition, indications, side effects and contraindications is close to epoetin alfa.
Assign subcutaneously to 20 IU / kg 3 times a week (or 10 IU / kg 7 times a week) or intravenously through 40-80 IU / kg 3 times a week.
Forms of release: powder for injection solution in vials (ampoules) of 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 IU and in cartridges (for syringe-pens "Reco-Pen") for 10 000 and 20 000 IU, complete with a solvent; Solution for injection in vials of 5 ml (500, 1000, 2000, 4000 and 10 000 IU), 10, 20, 40 and 100 ml.
