There are data on the efficacy of butadione in thrombophlebitis of the veins of the lower limbs and hemorrhoidal veins: application of the drug causes a reduction in pain, swelling, and hyperemia and a significant improvement in the general condition (for these diseases, an ointment containing butadion can be used). There are also indications of a positive effect of butadione in lupus erythematosus. A good effect (reduction of exudation and pain) is noted in iridocyclitis.
