Description of the medicine: Raltitrexed (Raltitrexed)

RALTITREXIDE.

N- [5 - [[(3-Dihydro-2-methyl-4-oxo-6-quinazolinyl) methyl] methylamino] -2-thenoyl] -L-glutamic acid.

Synonym: Tomoodex, Tomudex.

Cytostatic substance, inhibiting thymidylate synthetase and DNA biosynthesis.

Applied with cancer of the colon, pancreas and breast.

Assign intravenously 2.5-3 mg / m 2 1 time per 3 weeks (T S is 168 h), if necessary, re-enter.

Possible side effects: a taste disorder, anorexia, dyspepsia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia (rarely), anemia, asthenia, convulsions, peripheral edema, alopecia, sweating, rash.

Contraindications: myelosuppression, severe renal dysfunction, pregnancy, breast-feeding.

Do not use concomitantly with folic acid.

Form release: lyophilized powder for injection solutions in vials of 0.002 g (2 mg).
