Description of the medicine: Ritonavir

RITONAVIR.

5-Thiazolylmethyl [(α, S) -α - [(1S, 3S) -1-hydroxy-3 - [(2S) -2- [3- [(2-isopropyl-4-thiazolyl) methyl] -3- Methylureido] -3-methylbutylamido] -4-phenylbutyl] phenethyl] carbamate.

Synonym: Norvir, Norvir.

Applied in complex therapy of HIV infection.

Assign adults to adults for 0,3-0,6 g, children to 0,25-0,4 g / m 2 2 times a day.

Possible side effects: dyspepsia, sleep disturbance, asthenia, impaired liver function, leukopenia, increased cholesterol, triglycerides and uric acid in the blood.

Contraindicated in severe hepatic failure, breast-feeding.

Forms of release: capsules of 0.1 g (N. 84); 8% solution for oral administration in vials of 90 and 240 ml.
