Description of the medicine: Spectinomycin (Spectinomycin)
4H-Pyrano [2,3-b] [1,4-benzodioxin-4-one] decahydro-4a, 7,9-trioxy-2-methyl-6,8-bis (methylamino) dihydrochloride.
Synonyms: Kirin, Spectam, Togoplus, Trobicin, Kirin, Spectam, Todoplus, Trobicin.
Active against gram-negative microorganisms, including the causative agent of gonorrhea; ineffective against Treponema pallidum and chlamydia.
After intramuscular administration, it is rapidly and completely absorbed, C max is 1-2 hours, T Ѕ - 1-3 hours; excreted by the kidneys unchanged (within 48 hours).
Apply with acute gonorrhea urethritis and prostatitis in men; acute gonorrheal cervicitis and proctitis in women; for the treatment of patients who have had sex with patients with gonorrhea.
It is administered intramuscularly to adults in a dose of 2 g once or (with disseminated gonorrhea every 12 hours for 3 days; children weighing up to 45 kg - 40 mg / kg, more than 45 kg - 2 g once.
Allergic reactions, dizziness, dyspepsia, a decrease in hemoglobin and hematocrit, a decrease in diuresis, and soreness at the injection site are possible.
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
Release form: powder for injection solutions in 2 g vials complete with solvent (3.2 ml of water for injection).
