Tazocin (Tazocin).

Combined preparation containing piperacillin combined with a β-lactamase inhibitor tazobactam.

On the spectrum of antibacterial action and indications for use close to piperacillin.

Highly effective when intra-abdominal infections (peritonitis), lower respiratory tract infections, bile and mochevyvodyaschizh tract, pelvic organs, skin and soft tissues and others.

Enter intravenous slowly (over 30 minutes) for adults and children over 12 years: 2.25 g every 6 hours or at 4.5 g every 8 hours. Solutions are ex tempore, respectively, in 5 or 10 ml of isotonic sodium chloride solution or 5% glucose solution, then diluted with water for injection. The course of treatment 7-10 days.

Product: dried powder for injection solutions in bottles of 2.25 and 4.5 g (2 g piperacillin and 4 and 0.25 and 0.5 g tazobactam, respectively).
