Medication Description: Artricid

NIFLUMIC ACID (Acidum nifluminicum). 2- [3- (Trifluoromethyl) anilino] nicotinic acid.

Synonyms: Donalgin, Acidum niflumicum, Artricid, Dimepon, Donalgin, Dontalgan, Felalgyl, Flaminor, Forenol, Inflaril, Niduran, Niflamol, Nifluran, Niflux, Panreumal, Pefamexan and others.

The chemical structure and pharmacological properties of the drug is close to mefenamic acid. Has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. Somewhat more active than mefenamic acid.

Indications and contraindications for use are the same as for other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Assign inside by 0.25 g - 1 capsule 2 - 3 times a day during or immediately after meals (if necessary, up to 4 capsules a day).

The drug should not be prescribed in the first 3 months of pregnancy.

Form release: capsules of 0.25 grams in a package of 30 and 100 pieces.
