Bromisoval (Bromisovalum).

N- (-Bromizovalerianil) urea.

Synonyms: Bromural, Abroval, Albroman, Alluval, Alural , Bromisoval, Bromodorm, Bromuralum, Bromuresan, Dormigene, Isobromyl, Isoneurin, Isoval, Leunerval, Sedural, Somnibrom, Somnurol, Valurea and others.

The white crystalline powder bitter taste, low odor. Very slightly soluble in water (1: 450), soluble in alcohol (1:17).

It has a calming and mild sedative effect. Well tolerated.

Assign inside as a sedative at 0.3 - 0.6 g 1-2 times a day as a sedative - 0.6 - 0.75 g per reception in half an hour before bedtime.

Children prescribed for insomnia, chorea, whooping cough at 0.03 - 0.1 0.25 g per reception (depending on age); in whooping cough sometimes with codeine.

Higher doses for adults inside: single 1 g daily 2 grams

Method of issuance: powder; tablets of 0.3 g in a package of 10 pieces.
